WELCOME TO THE FLOTILLA 42 PHOTO PAGE
Hi Folks,
Below is a group of pictures showing the different aspects of what you
can expect
when you join the Auxiliary.
As you can see, it is often a lot of work, training, patrols, and
vessel inspections.
We also have booths at Boat
Shows, and Safe Boating Day is one of our biggest
events to educate the boating public on safety.
Is it all work and no play? No indeed. Although we're not a
"party club" we do like
to have fun, and try to have
something special about every 3 months, such as our
St. Patrick's
Day Celebration
in
March, surprise
in June, barbeque in September and
our Change of Watch dinner in December.

Every year one branch of the Military
is honored. In 2003 it was the Coast Guard. The following are a
couple of pictures from the "Massing of the Colors" 11 NOV
03 at BCC
Cocoa Campus
There are
also District Conferences that are some work, but you can also have
fun. The Spring Conference was held in Ft. Lauderdale, and a great
little cruise called the Jungle Queen was available. It's tough
trying to get pictures where you can see more of the subject, and
less of people's heads, but here are a couple.
You can see
there is much to do and experience in the Auxiliary. As in everything
else in life, you only get out of it what you put into it. Flotilla 42
is known as the "Can Do" flotilla and if you're a "can do" person who
really wants to get involved in Auxiliary affairs, please get in touch...we'd love to have you join
our "family".
